Born and raised in Pacific Grove, California, Alex Rodriguez discovered his love for film at an early age, sparked by his family’s enthusiasm for action movies and an early introduction to the original Star Wars trilogy.

Inspired by the magic of filmmaking, he went on to earn his Bachelor’s degree in Film Production from CSU Long Beach and has been working as a cinematographer ever since.

A lifelong learner who thrives on thinking outside the box, Alex enjoys solving creative challenges and finds deep satisfaction in collaborating with a team—building rapport and trust both on and off set. Now based in Los Angeles, he is available for projects worldwide.
